TREAT Ranjani and Gayatri will perform at the Flights of Fantasy festival
A trust dedicated to Muthuswami Dikshitar called Guruguhaamrta will be inaugurated by Sangeetha Kalanidhi Dr. R.K. Srikantan on November 1 at 5.30 p.m. at the Rama Lalitha Kalamandira, Banashankari II Stage, Bangalore.
Guruguhaamrta is a trust dedicated to the legendary composer Sri Muttuswami Dikshitar. The main goals of Guruguhaamrta would be to preserve, propagate and increase awareness about the compositions of Muttusvami Dikshitar among rasikas, students and musicians. Exclusive concerts, lectures and discussions would be held at regular intervals round the year with the focus being firmly on the compositions of Sri Muttusvami Dikshitar.This will be followed by two mini music concerts with recitals dedicated to Muttuswami Dikshitar. There will be a vocal by Aishwarya Raghunath. She will be accompanied by Charulatha Ramanujam on violin and C. Cheluvaraju on mridanga at 6.20 p.m.
Later in the evening there will be a concert by master H.S. Harishankar with M.S. Govindaswamy on violin and V. Krishnan on mridanga.

Ganjam presents “Flights of Fantasy” a three-day Carnatic music extravaganza at the Chowdiah Memorial Hall, Bangalore. This year’s festival will see performances by distinguished carnatic musicians including Lalgudi Sri Krishnan and Lalgudi Vijayalakshmi on violin, Harikatha exponent Vishaka Hari and vocal duet by Ranjani and Gayatri. All concerts begin at 6.30 p.m.

On November 5, it will be Lalgudi Krishnan and Lalgudi Vijayalakshmi (Violin Duet), on November 6 Vishaka Hari (Harikatha) performs, and on November 7, vocal performance by Ranjani and Gayatri.
