Wilde in Bangla

“The Importance of Being Earnest” is the most successful amongst the plays written by Oscar Wilde. How does it work in an Indian language? The Bangalore chapter of the California Bay Area based Bengali theatre group ENaD will present the play. Aleek Alaekhya, the in-house Bengali adaptation of Wilde’s classic is the result. The play is directed by Amitava Baksy.
