The serial crosses 300 episodes. Watch on to find out the sacrifices Unnimaya makes to save Niranjan's life. Will Rosemary succeed in winning Niranjan over? And what of Mahadevan's plans for Rosemary and Niranjan?

Sa Re Ga Ma

This music programme completes 450 episodes. Tune into the show hosted by playback singer M.G. Sreekumar for some good music and some celebrity chit chat.

Pattukalude paatu

(Surya TV, weekdays, 8.30 p.m.)

Veteran lyricist, music director and filmmaker, Sreekumaran Thampi comes out with a new serial with playback singer Vidhu Pratap in the lead.

Actors such as Ambili Devi, K.P.A.C. Lalitha, Vanitha, Lena, Maya Maushmi and Prem Prakash also play important roles. The serial begins on June 27.

Tarang

(Victers Channel, Saturday, 8.30 p.m.)

Sethji is a widowed businessman who lives a comfortable life with his only daughter, Hansa, his son-in-law, Rahul, and grandson, Munna.

His nephew Dinesh and Rahul assist Sethji in running his business. Petty rivalries and jealousies soon grow within the family, and Sethji and Rahul feel that Dinesh is trying to undermine the business.

They would like to get rid of him, without attracting attention to themselves. They do terminate Dinesh, but this affects Sethji's health, and he dies. Shortly thereafter, Hansa also dies.

But Sethji's and Hansa's deaths leave many unanswered questions. Amol Palekar, Smita Patil, and Shreeram Lagoo star in the movie.

Song4U

Song4U:Rosebowl, weekdays, 9 p.m.

Popular anchor Ranjini Haridas returns to the show that launched her television career. After a hiatus, ‘Song4U' is back, playing viewers' request for their favourite songs. Songs of all genres and in all languages will be featured on the show. The show will be co-hosted by Sreenath Bhasi, an up-and-coming RJ at Red FM, Kochi. ‘Song4U' premieres on June 27. The repeat is on Tuesday to Saturday at 9 a.m.

Planet Bollywood

(Rosebowl, Fridays, 10 p.m.)

Anchor Roshni Swaminathan takes the viewer through the best and worst of Bollywood; a list that features anything and everything that's related to the Hindi cinema. Repeat of the show is on Thursdays at 5 p.m.

My Favourite

( ACV, Saturday, 9 p.m.)

Veteran filmmaker and scriptwriter T.V. Chandran is the celebrity guest for the week. He talks about his favourite films, his inspirations and plans.

Thiranottam

This series of shows takes a look at various facets of Mohanlal's career.

This episode features Salim Kumar, the superstar's make-up artist. Salim, who has been Mohanalal's make-up man for the past 20 years, shares his experience of working with the actor.

Movies

This weekend ACV screens some old favourites. ‘Jagratha,' on Saturday, at 2 p.m., is directed by K. Madhu and stars Mammootty, Mukesh, and Jagathy Sreekumar. It is the second in the series of the Crime Branch investigative thrillers featuring Mammootty as CBI officer Sethurama Iyer.

The comic flick ‘Three Men Army,' starring Dileep and Devayani and directed by Nissar, is on Sunday at 10.30 a.m.

Balu Kiriyath's comedy ‘Moonu Kodiyum Munnooru Pavanum,' starring Jagadish, Harishree Ashokan, and Vinduja Menon, is on Sunday at 9.30 p.m.
