Crazy robot

Crazy inventions to the fore.

AFTER THE supernatural, it is now robotics that will be ridiculed at the hands of comedy actor-director Crazy Mohan. But no one is complaining. Only they are busy wiping away tears of laughter, watching his serial `Vidathu Sirippu' on Jaya TV.

The serial that is broadcast on Saturdays and Sundays entered its 25th episode recently. It started off as a `desi' version of the popular sci-fi movie `Ghost Busters.'

Now, Crazy Mohan has introduced a new theme to tickle the funny bone. He will play a crazy inventor whose invention is the human robot. A computer chip in the brain of a comatose human turns him into a robot and what follows is typical Crazy Mohan mayhem that we have all grown to enjoy.

The director will himself play the roles of both the mad scientist and the robot called Shri Robot Lila. Others in the cast include Maadhu Balajee, Vinodini, Cheenu Mohan, Uma Ravi, Kathadi Ramamurthy and Neelu.

The serial is being directed by S.B. Khanthan and produced by L. Ve. Creations.
