And, now juice bars

City residents who are sticklers for exercise need not worry about dehydration now. Waiting for them, just outside the Museum police station entrance in the early morning, is an array of fruit and vegetable juices.

High on the demand-list are the juice of carrot and bitter gourd. Once the order is placed, the juice is prepared in a jiffy using a blender powered by a portable generator. Those preferring fruit juices too can choose from the `menu' that the vendor quickly rattles off.

There are many who stop by this `juice bar' to catch their breath and ruminate on the day ahead, munching on some sprouted pulses which are also on offer. A few steps away, there are some who watch the bitter-gourd `tamasha' with a smile while sipping hot tea or coffee.
