All set for viewing Venus

STAR-GAZERS in the city are gearing up to watch the transit of the planet Venus across the face of the sun, which will be visible between 10.45 a.m. and 4.50 p.m. on June 8. Arrangements have been made at the State Science and Technology Museum at the PMG Junction for public viewing of the event.

The University Observatory at Vellayambalam has also made arrangements for the public to view the event.
