T keep children entertained this summer, India Cartoon Network and Pogo, the leading children's television networks, are coming up with a riveting line-up of brand new programmes and nine blockbusters including a 2-D animation film, "Vikram Aur Betaal".
While the two Indian productions, "MAD" (Music, Art and Dance), "Bam! Bam! Bam! "Vikram Aur Betaal" promises to take children on King Vikramaditya's adventurous journey to capture a ghost from the forest. Produced by Hyderabad-based Green Gold Studio, the animation film will be aired in both English and Hindi.
Mr. Misra informed that Indian television viewers above the age of 15 years are watching more of Turner Entertainment Networks' two animation channels than even English news channels.
"In India, Cartoon Network enjoys the No. 1 position with a 60 per cent market share, while Pogo ranks second with a 17 per cent channel share," added Mr. Misra.
