AIR launches `Vani' course

CUDDAPAH: Akashvani has launched `Vani' certificate course in voice culture that would provide employment in FM stations, the Cuddapah AIR Programme Head, N. Vijayasarathi, said on Tuesday. Nine men and 11 women chosen for training would be trained in two spells, from Tuesday to April 23 and from April 24 to 29, Mr. Vijayasarathi said at the launch of the first batch training. The C.P. Brown Memorial Library Secretary, J. Hanumath Sastry, said those presenting programmes on radio must be well versed with historical background and aspirations of listeners.
