Want a career in the animation industry?

BANGALORE: You might have watched Shrek and The Incredibles and wondered about the technology that goes behind the making of the characters and if the animation industry holds any future for you.

Well, maybe the seminar organised by the Maya Academy for Advanced Cinematics (MAAC), one of India's premier state-of-the-art animation training institutions, will help you decide. The seminar will focus on career possibilities in the animation industry.

The institute provides education in 3D animation, visual effects, and post-production techniques.

It is also exploding into the animated world with an array of visual effects projects, quality entertainment, and a 24x7 studio structured to support both its domestic and international clients.

The seminar will bring together prominent speakers from the industry who will speak on character building, compositing and editing, digital design, and visual effects. The MAAC will also hold an exhibition of digital arts on the occasion.

The seminar will be conducted at "Satya Sai Samskruta Sadanam" on Hosur Road from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday. The event will also act as a career ground for students of the MAAC to showcase their work to recruiters.
