The company has been conducting on-the-spot painting competition for school students.
The first prize-winning entry has been featured on the cover page of the directory.
The topic for the competition was `My Kochi'. Jinju Thomas, an Eighth standard student of Islamic Higher Secondary School, Aluva, won the first prize for her painting depicting fishing harbour. Kochi has one of the main harbours of Kerala; it gives job opportunity to a number of people, says Ms.Jinju.
The second prize-winner, Mona S. Mohan, a Ninth standard student of St. Joseph's Higher Secondary School, Thripunithura, chose the seashore as the theme for the painting.
The seashells, boats, birds, fishermen and nets had fascinated her, she says. The third winner, Jones Panikulam, a Fifth Standard student of Matha Nagar Public School, too chose the seashore as the theme for his painting.

The work on the publication of yet another directory, the City Yellow Pages, is in progress.
The directory has been in circulation for the past nine years, according to P.C. Manikandan, Marketing Director of the company.
The company has been distributing the publication across the State, mainly to commercial establishments and institutions.
Directories apart, a host of 24-hour information service centres such as Fingertips, Ask Me, Getit Now are al so operating in the city.
