Bhajju Shyam

A chance visit to London gave Gond artist, Bhajju Shyam, an opportunity to record his observations in a stunning illustrated travelogue. Using the artistic traditions of his tribe, he gave a never-been-seen-before slant to the city's streets, monuments and pubs in The London Jungle Book.

The book was applauded internationally when released and has recently got another accolade. It picked up an Honourable Mention in the Multicultural Fiction category at the 2006 Independent Publisher Book Awards in Washington DC.

Bhajju Shyam's other books are Beasts of India and his latest work The Night Life of Trees.
