The maiden

AP

MANDIRA BEDI is best remembered for her foray into the world of cricket commentary. That the young lady is also an actress has been eclipsed in all the brouhaha over her escapades, including the one involving the names of her two dogs. But those controversies have been laid to rest, for the time being, and Bedi zoomed into town to spend some "quality" time with children at the SOS village in a suburb near Delhi. Even as she remarked that "it was easier to part with money than spending precious time" with the needy she soon settled into posing for photo shoots with the kids. Very much a Delhi girl at heart, Bedi said she loved "all the cuisine in Delhi as she did the local malls and cinema complexes".
