Confident Manisha

REUTERS

IT'S a whistle stop tour. But then actor turned producer MANISHA KOIRALA, is taking no chances before the release of her first venture, "Paisa Vasool".

Promotion being part of the launch package, Koirala is doing all the talking and explaining her experiences while making her first film, hands on. "It's a great feeling to produce a film but it can get to being a real headache at times," said Koirala, flashing her famous disarming smile. The film, she clarifies is not a comedy. "But it is one where there are comic situations. I am a shy girl and Sushmita Sen is the bolder one, more outgoing." Koirala is confident that the film will go down well with the audiences. "Today it is not necessary to do formula films or to have exotic locales. People are willing to see films with a different plot." She must know. There is much at stake in her hero-less, romance-free venture.
