Is there Kuja Dosha, if Mars is placed in Makara Rasi, but without benefic aspect from any other planet?

Kuja (Angaraka) Dosha obtains, if Mars is in 2, 4, 7, 8, or 12 from Lagna. Some feel that the Dosha is there if Mars is placed similarly from the position of Moon, or of Venus. If Mars is located in Mesha or Vrischika, in exaltation or debilitation, in conjunction with or aspected by benefics, the Dosha may not be serious. Further, if the Maha Dasa of Mars has already passed, he or she may not be much affected. If Lagna Lord is strong, and Ayush Karaka and 8th Lord are placed well, and the planetary Maha Dasa-s and Bhukthi-s to come are favourable, the Dosha's effect will stand mitigated.
