HE is the quintessential ladies' man. The familiar swagger, that deliberate arch and a sly smile — all these trademark qualities have come to characterise actor Dev Anand, who was finally awarded the Dadasaheb Phalke Award. "You cannot decry awards," said he. "For me they are only a public sanction to strive to do better." The evergreen actor and director then proceeded to inform all present that he was still on the "lookout for that ravishing beauty to cast in his next film `Beauty Queen'. All women are beautiful but I am still on the lookout for that one beauty," said he.
