Comedy Queen

STAND-UP comedy is yet to find more than a fistful of takers. So it is almost natural when MAHABANOO MODY-KOTWAL deadpans her act. "There are many types of comedies — obscene ones are those that make fun of obvious things and add to people's discomfort. Mine don't. My jokes are naughty and get people to have a good laugh. Now that's what comedy is all about," said Kotwal. While her repertoire could do with some brushing up, Kotwal has yet to face any competition on her chosen circuit. Till then it's her show.
