Chocolate boy

R.V. Moorthy

"NEVER plan anything, wait for the surprises" is his mantra. His is the face that seems to have set a million young hearts aflutter. For actor SHAHID KAPOOR, his chocolate boy looks have won him rave reviews even as he insists he is as committed an actor as the rest of the brat pack. Coming from a family of stage actors, Kapoor has a reputation to watch out for. While he insists that he is not fazed by his parents' iconic stature, Kapoor said he was more than open to experimenting with all kinds of roles. "After all that is what a good actor is about. He should be able to handle just about anything." Commenting on his most recent role where he plays a lover boy but with a touch of comedy to it, Kapoor said he was convinced that this was an unusual character and would hit the box offices in a big way.
