Troubled times

The article on the continued disturbances in Afghanistan ("Protracted dawn", September 17) made interesting reading. In fact, with never ending rebel attacks, the people of Afghanistan are having a horrible time especially when neighbouring countries like India are trying to rebuild the infrastructure there.
