Stoic silence

IT'S bad enough to live in a city obsessed by the Bollywood brigade. What happens when an A-list Hollywood name comes calling? Last week saw local Mumbai celebrities upstaged by Hollywood biggies, ANGELINA JOLIE and Brad Pitt, who seemed to take over the city with the shooting of her latest film "A Mighty Heart' based on journalist Daniel Pearl's life. While the hungry paparazzi followed Brangelina, most got very little till the last day when Jolie showed up for a press conference where she pointedly told reporters to "stick to the details of the film". But providence had other plans. A scuffle between their bodyguards and parents at a local school where the film was being shot put them back on the news pages. Pitt, in an attempt to smooth ruffled feathers, apologised saying "the city of Mumbai and its people have been very good and we respect all faiths." Jolie, of course, remained stoically silent.
