Candid comments

"Lessons from the polio campaign" by Dr. Jacob M. Puliyel (November 26) was shattering news. It is sad to think of the amount of money and resources that have gone waste. And it seems the government is only repeating the same mistake. I hope doctors in eminent positions can come together and stop the government from making the same mistake twice.

The article was interesting and informative. Dr. Puliyel's candid comments are to be appreciated. Normally specialists are not forthcoming about the adverse effects of vaccines. No one seems to be bothered about the ethics of inducing dangerous and often fatal disease in a healthy person by vaccination.
