Outstanding artist

S. Theodore Bhaskaran's tribute to O.T.Ravindran "The Man who Painted the Lilies" was interesting (December 24). O.T. Ravindran's paintings of weeds and wild flowers of the Western Ghats are outstanding. His paintings of wild flowers encouraged the people to look at the world in a different manner. His paintings of orchids and tress brought the beauty of the wild to the lay man and taught him to appreciate Nature. He made an effort to make an exact copy.
