World Cup mania

With reference to the article "Dare we hope for a miracle" (February 4), the reality is that there is so much money in cricket, players come in and go out. The focus is fast shifting from playing for the country to money and personal records irrespective of whether we win or lose the World Cup.

Days are sprinting towards the Cricket World Cup, with billions still hoping for a miracle to happen. Let's not enervate ourselves since it enervates the team. Instead of creating a valour within to face an uncertain woe let's plant courage in team India to endeavour to win the World Cup. It's true, miracles do happen when billions join as a team.
