Timely warning

With reference to "Understanding India" (March 18) Dr.Martin Kampachen seems to have studied India well. Among his answers, what stands out is his observation that India's "greatest problem is the unrestrained population growth", which at the rate of 15 million a year will lead to scarcity of vital resources like water. A timely warning indeed!
