Eye-opener

This refers to “Wonders of whole grain” by Dr.Jalaja Ramaswamy (July 1). The article is an eye-opener to those suffering from cardiovascular diseases and diabetes. It is time the Central and State Governments begin an awareness campaign for the use of whole grains.

Correction: In “Caldwell’s Kodaikanal” by S. Theodore Baskaran (July 1, 2007) the photograph published with the article is St.Peter’s Church, Kodaikanal and not the house built by Robert Caldwell. The error is regretted.

Theodore Baskaran writes: The name of the house is Rosalyn and not Roseneath. Pete’s Gazeteer however gives the name as Roseneath. I regret the error.
