Twinkle toes

SUCHITRA BEHAL

Age does not seemed to have dulled his talent. When actor MITHUN CHAKRABORTY found himself crooning for the first time with Asha Bhonsle for her album “Asha & Friends”, he couldn’t stop gyrating to the tune. While singing was a first for him, dancing certainly wasn’t. And so there was Chakraborty in true style, rocking and crooning like a pro. Said Chakraborty of his song, “It was a very danceable number, so difficult to stay put. Dancing comes naturally to me.” Those who witnessed Chakraborty dancing at the recording studios maintain that he still has the energy to beat younger people. No wonder then he was known as the dancing boy of Bollywood.
