SIGHTINGS

One man army

Is actor AMITABH BACHCHAN switching careers? If his new options are anything to go by, it seems a lateral shift is on the cards. Bachchan, who has sung a rap song for his own role as a ghost in a forthcoming film, has now been roped in to perform two more numbers for two other films that he is working in. The rap song is being composed by Vishal-Shekhar for their film “Bhoothnath”. Said an amused Bachchan, “It looks like the music composers are thinking of an alternative career for me. They obviously don’t think me much of an actor.” Bachchan said that not only had he sung a song for his own role in the film but had also recorded a soft lyric for it. Like the stars of yore, Bachchan is fast becoming a one man army — acting, singing and dancing to his own beat.
