Back on the silver screen

Nobody quite scorched the silver screen like her with her thousand-watt smile. And now fans of actor MADHURI DIXIT are keeping their fingers crossed as the actor is staging a comeback post-marriage and post-kids. But all that hasn’t dimmed her acting prowess or her smile.

Dixit, currently in the country to promote her new film, said she was “definitely going the whole hog to popularise the film — reality shows everything. What’s wrong with it?” she asks. “There is such a huge noise and din in the entertainment industry that you have to shout above it.”

What she really would like to do is pursue her kathak. “I want to get back to it seriously. Set up a dance school. For me kathak is not a hobby but a way of life. I’ve learnt it for years.”
