Dr. George Thomas has, in his article “Dietary Dilemmas” (December 23), hit the nail on the head about the confusion caused by a variety of information. His references to the cholesterol problem and the unintelligent assessment based on insignificant figures in the diagnostic test results will help create awareness. I hope the medical profession and the health-care authorities will disseminate more such useful information.
