“A visit and the aftermath” (January 13) clearly shows the importance we give to VIPs who regularly block the traffic and disturb normal life and draw too much of attention to themselves. We need to de-hype the glamour of VIPs because they draw power from the people, the real VIPs in democracy. Secondly they are not above ordinary people.
