Ramachandra Guha (“The meanings of martyrdom”, February 3) rightly points out the importance of communal harmony. Perhaps music has no religious barriers and humanity too should wipe the barriers of religion, caste and region to foster integrity. If India today is progressing at fast pace it is because of artistes of Chinna Moulana’s stature who showed that the strength of India lies in elevating the inner spirit to great heights.
