Imaginative
It is indeed very imaginative that director Aparna Sen has chosen to make a film based on an inspiring short story (“An unusual love story” February 24). In today’s world of Indian cinema, original stories seem to have become obsolete. When there are hundreds of short stories written in almost all regional languages, filmmakers still opt for copying successful films. They should try what Sen has done in order to make more original movies. Short story adaptations undeniably provides good base for great screenplays. Bravo Aparna Sen, way to go!
