Tina Ambani

The 13th Harmony Art Show being showcased in Mumbai proves that Tina Ambani’s dedication to bringing artists together in a forum and finding space for them to work is more than just another whim of a social ite-turned-entrepreneur. Ambani, who is quite content to play the role she has chosen, said that hers was a hectic lifestyle. “I am not a lady of leisure and I do enjoy my fast-paced life. Holidays mean getting out of town with the kids and Anil but in town it’s work and more work,” said Ambani. Talking about her show, she said the focus each year was on one particular art form and artist. “But more than 50 per cent of those participating are new faces and they are the ones whose works are drawing maximum attention,” said Ambani. Asked if she ever felt she had lost out on her heydays, she retorted, “I focus on the present and I believe that one must do whatever one is doing best. I like to focus all my energies on whatever I’m pursuing at the moment and that is Harmony — the magazine as well as the show.”
