Gut feeling

Here’s a man who thinks from the heart. All along that’s been actor Salman Khan’s USP. “All my decisions are based on my instincts. I do not depend too much on intelligence and calculations.” But just in case people think he’s a dumb hunk, he’s quick to add. “

Despite being portrayed as arrogant, brash and everything else, I have survived because my fans never lost faith in me.” Almost on cue, the moment he steps out onto the balcony of his flat, the multitudes thronging the gates set up a collective roar of approval. Khan, who is all set to appear on his new TV show, said he had some initial reservations about the format. “It sounded implausible; I thought it would not work. But then I decided to go with my instinct and that’s it.”

And just in case one thought of him as selfish , Khan points out that he is busy setting up a charity to help the needy. “I want to do my bit for them.”

And borrowing from the lines of Justin Timberlake’s chartbuster, a satisfied Khan intones, “I believe what goes around comes around.”
