Embrace Ahimsa

As a recent convert to Ahimsa, who spent most of his adult life (I am 53 years old) without recognising its value, I would like to share a few thoughts with you on my efforts to embrace it. There are a few very lucky souls in the world whose natural response would be based on Ahimsa under any circumstances. But for a majority of other ordinary people like me, the effort to apply Ahimsa in everyday life is a very hard and painful struggle.

For the benefit of all those who are in a situation similar to mine, I would suggest Gandhiji’s book “All Men Are Brothers” (Navajivan Publishing House, Ahmedabad-14) as a guide.
