Sad State

“Another Bakery...” (Harsh Mander, June 15) was a heart touching write-up. It is sad that the perpetrators of such heinous crimes are standing tall despite protests from the masses, while the victims are still languishing for no fault of theirs. The fact that Narendra Modi, the architect of massacre in Gujarat has become an icon in other states where BJP is in power, speaks more of the power of Fascist forces to conquer the minds and hearts of the gullible masses. Nevertheless the fact remains that the Ruling classes have failed to stand up to the occasion, as far as common masses are concerned.
