Remaking “A Wednesday”

Kamal Haasan has a passion for remaking Hindi films based on terror. While he remade Govind Nihalani’s “Drohkaal”, he now wants to remake “A Wednesday” as well. He has chosen himself and Mohanlal to reprise the roles of Naseeruddin Shah and Anupam Kher respectively in Tamil as well as Malayalam. Earlier Mammootty’s name was being tossed about as the person who would be playing the cop’s role.
