Changing his image

DHANUSH IS going for an image change for his latest "Thiruda Thirudi". The boy, who excelled in such roles as Vinod of "Kathal Kondein", is now playing a lover boy in "Thiruda Thirudi", a love story about a small town boy falling in love with a girl who comes from a different background. But the big question is will a vanilla-coated romance work for Dhanush, an unconventional looking hero? Shiva, the director of the film says, "Dhanush is the hottest youngster whose fans will definitely love him to play something different." Dhanush is optimistic about his image change. Remember Shah Rukh Khan, who had played negative roles in "Baazigar" and "Daar". before becoming a romantic hero in "Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge"?
