THE SUPERWOMAN of the Telugu screen, Vijayashanti, will appear as a mafia leader in her forthcoming film Nayudamma being produced by 8246 International. Vijayashanti who is known for her roles as a super cop (Kartavyam, Surya IPS, et al) and as a revolutionary in Osey Raamulamma, will be appearing in a role which has negative shades, perhaps for the first time. Prabhudeva is cast in a parallel role and co-starring him is Rekha. More than 80 per of the shooting is complete and the film will be released in October.
