Strung with artistry

POOMPUHAR IS holding "Jewel Expo 2003", an exhibition of artistic jewellery procured from different parts of the country, till October 18, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., at its Anna Salai showroom.

Gold-plated bangles, rings, bracelets, necklaces, pendants and brooches set in precious and semi-precious stones vie for attention. They speak volumes for the exquisite craftsmanship of the artisans.

Temple jewellery, Hyderabad pearl strings, rudraksha and sandalwood beads are the other attractions. Some of the pieces on display make excellent fashion accessories. A discount of 10 per cent is being offered on the entire range.
