Contest for beauticians

THE ALL India Beauty Specialists and Hairdressers Association (AIBHA) is presenting its signature event AIBHA Awards 2003 in Hair and Beauty. The competition of talent and skill, sponsored by L'Oreal Professionnel Paris and Procter and Gamble, is open to hairdressers and beauticians from all over the country and will be held on October 27 and 28 at the ITC Park Sheraton Hotel in the city.

The contest is divided into six categories — ladies haircut and blow dry, gents haircut and blow dry, ladies evening hairstyle, bridal make-up, nail art and the wild and wacky look. The three winners of each category will be awarded cash prizes, trophies and a certificate. The jury will comprise experts in the field from India and abroad.

The first three winners will be awarded sponsorship to contest in the Hair Asia Pacific 2003, an international competition to be held in Singapore on November 3, 4 and 5.
