FOR THOSE who enjoy action movies at home without annoying interventions and intervals, here's good news. Columbia TriStar Home Entertainment and Asia Vision Home Entertainment have released DVDs manufactured in India.
The catalogue includes blockbusters such as "Spiderman", "Stuart Little 2", "Charlie's Angels", "Men in Black" and "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon", horror films like "Panic Room", and timeless classics like "Mackenna's Gold", "Lawrence of Arabia", and so on. What's more, there's an offer of a free VCD with every DVD.
According to Columbia TriStar Home Entertainment, these DVDs are the first Hollywood studio products manufactured and marketed in India of international quality.
Columbia TriStar and Asia Vision promise to increase the repertoire with the release of four titles a month initially, and doubling the pace after three months.
The DVDs are priced at Rs. 599 each.
