Ladies club anniversary
Traditional dances, songs and classical music reflecting the rich cultural heritage of India, marked the third annual day function of the Deepika Ladies Club of NTPC Simhadri at Deepanjalinagar township recently.
The club members, their families and children participated in the function. The club members presented a dance drama on the theme `Ramayana'. Competitions and fun games were also organised.
The NTPC Simhadri General Manager, S.R. Yadav, released the `Deepika' souvenir. He complimented the club members for organising the developmental activities of the three wings: the ladies club, Bal Bhavan and Bal Vatika and Adult Education Centre. He was all praise for the rapid pace of progress in the field of social and community welfare in the nearby villages.
