INSTANT FOODS

Bon Appetit

OURS IS a country with a rich culinary heritage. Lack of technology did not hamper one's lifestyle. With the present style of living and working environment it has become necessary for us to rely on instant and ready-to-eat foods. Instant foods, fast foods, convenience foods and street foods are all sought after.

People's definition of instant foods ranges from anything that is not made at home to foods that have been partially or fully processed requiring very little time to get them ready for serving.

The safety of instant foods will depend on their nutritional profile and frequency of consumption. Food is the bedrock of good health. While we must enjoy food to our heart's content, it may be wise to remember, "we are what we eat". Enjoy instant foods as they are here to stay.
