Plum role

AFTER SAATHIYA, Vivek Oberoi had a gruelling tour schedule with Aishwarya Rai, but soon he injured his leg during the shoot of Mani Ratnam's Yuva in Kolkata. Before all this, Oberoi was embroiled in the Salman Khan phone call controversy where he was supposedly "harassed" by the Khan for "getting friendly with Aishwarya Rai". But soon things were sorted out when papa Suresh Oberoi stepped in and sorted out the problem. Now, Vivek has bagged the title role in Kisna, directed by Subhash Ghai. The industry buzz is that Shah Rukh's bad back and Akhshaye Khanna's packed call sheets helped Vivek bag the plum role. One man's loss could be another's gain.
