B for Bhansali

THE LETTER `B' is what Sanjay Leela Bhansali is obsessed with. Or so he says. Bhansali `b'ets that this second alphabet is going to bring him more luck. Consider this: His forthcoming films are "Black" and "Bajirao Mastani." Big `B' plays the main role in "Black". Perhaps the star value of Amitabh Bachchan is what Bhansali is banking on in "Black". But Bhansali saab, isn't "Boom" an example of diminishing star value? Says the director, "Black is my favourite colour and in spite of people warning me that the title may sound depressing, I stuck to it, because contrary to the name, the story is about the triumph of human spirit. Black has a special significance in the film and I'm lucky I managed to rope in the Big `B'." Considering the fact that most of his films have made a mark, all we can now say is `All the `B'est!
