D.A.V. Public School, Butchirajupalem, has bagged the maximum number of awards in various competitions conducted by the Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama recently. The following are the students who bagged the first prizes in various events: Kavitha Kiran Patnaik - English essay writing, K. Vindhya - Telugu essay writing, P. Deepika - Telugu recitation, S. Sunil Kumar - Telugu elocution and P.S. Srujana - Sanskrit recitation.
The school principal, C.V. Shankar, congratulated the winners.

Mehar Kumar of Nalanda Talent School won the first prize in the Peace Poster Contest for school children organised by the Lions Club of VSP - Dwarakanagar recently. The Lions district governor (Dist.324C1) gave away the prizes to the winners at a function held at Sri Prakash Vidya Niketan, Asilametta, recently.
