LGee whiz!

Showing off their cullinary skills on the microwave.

UPTO YOUR ears in work and the boss (who hates catered food) is coming home for dinner with family, friends, and neighbours? Don't contemplate fleeing to Outer Mongolia.

You can come out in flying colours with innovation and technology. Last weekend, LG showcased its range of microwaves, with local celebs showing off their culinary skills. The occasion was the release of Tastes of India, an attractively packaged, bilingual microwave cookbook, authored by Geeta Narang who is associated with LG Test Kitchens. The book demonstrates how to make the simplest upma to the celebrated Hyderabadi biryani in a microwave.

It has small section on international cuisine too, besides one on the oven's maintenance.

For online recipes and registration for cookery classes, you can log on to www.lgezbuy.com. LG can be locally contacted on 51145145.
