Bending it on stage


AFTER THE super success of Jesse's trials vis a vis making aalu gobi and playing football, Bend it like Beckham is now going to see a stage avatar.

Director Gurinder Chadha and producer Deepak Nayar are looking into the logistics of bringing out as a Westend musical complete with song and dance sequences.

The stars - Parminder Nagra and the delicious Keira Knightley most probably would not be in the stage version. Eat your heart boys!
