KING KHAN has retained his crown with a picture perfect 2003 continuing with the "Devdas" dream. "The high-point was `Chalte Chalte'," remembers Shah Rukh. His first hit as a producer brought much needed relief after the nagging back trouble. "Thank God it was over. I still remember the pain while shooting for `Gumshuda' song." After sending fans to tears and Karan to disco with the winner of the year, "Kal Ho Naa Ho", he is not looking for anything in the New Year. "Those who work hard, they just work hard. They don't look forward to any fruits." Has he come across the most challenging role in his career? "Yes, as always my next film."
