I don't know about you, but for me this is the ideal drink, nature's gift package brimming with vitamins, minerals and taste. Bottled by a global giant... nature herself... but improved and made available by an enterprising two-some, Shanthi and Padma. Their tender coconuts are handpicked from the pristine farms of Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh. These are then immediately cleaned and dressed under hygienic conditions and carried to the retail vendors in cold storage. Unlike the other tender coconuts that are already available in the market in dusty environments, these are not only cleaned, dressed and chilled but also shaped conveniently to facilitate easy opening of the shell and also for storing in the fridge or placing on the table. Another piece of good news is that the coconuts are also home-delivered. And in case you are interested, Shanthi and Padma point out that tender coconut water keeps the body cool, kills intestinal worms, checks urinary infections, and is an excellent tonic for the old and the sick. Its health benefits are extolled in the Ayurvedic texts as well.
